Frontend Developer

We are looking for a frontend developer who cares how an interface feels, not only whether it renders. You will build production work for brands in Honduras, Spain and beyond — sites, platforms and product interfaces that go live and stay live.

About the role

Onetouch is a creative and technology consultancy. Strategy, brand, design, development, content and performance sit in the same team, which means frontend work starts earlier here than it does at most agencies: you will see the design while it is still moving, push back on it, and help decide what is buildable before anything is signed off.

Our stack is Astro, React and TypeScript, with Tailwind, GSAP and Lenis for motion, Sanity as the CMS and Vercel for delivery. You do not need to have shipped all of it. You do need to be fluent in the fundamentals underneath it and comfortable learning the rest in the open.

What you’ll do

• Build responsive, accessible interfaces from design files, and flag the cases the design did not account for before they become bugs.
• Turn brand and motion direction into real interaction — scroll, transitions, micro-states — without wrecking performance.
• Integrate content models and APIs, mostly Sanity and internal endpoints, and keep the data layer readable.
• Own Core Web Vitals on the work you ship: image strategy, bundle size, layout stability.
• Meet WCAG 2.2 AA as a baseline — semantic markup, keyboard paths, focus states, reduced-motion fallbacks.
• Review your teammates’ pull requests, and take review on your own without ceremony.
• Present your own work in internal reviews, and to the client when the build is yours.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years building production frontends. Agency, product or freelance all count if the work actually shipped.
• Strong HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript. You can explain the cascade, the box model and the event loop without reaching for a framework.
• Working TypeScript and a component framework — React preferred, though Vue or Svelte experience transfers.
• Comfort with Git in a team: branches, pull requests, resolving a conflict without panic.
• An eye for detail — spacing, rhythm, easing. You notice when something is two pixels off, and you fix it.
• Enough English to read documentation and follow a technical thread. Day-to-day work runs in Spanish.

Nice to have

• Astro, or any experience with an islands / partial-hydration architecture.
• GSAP, ScrollTrigger or another motion library used in production, not only in a demo.
• Headless CMS work — Sanity, Contentful, Storyblok — including modelling the content, not only reading it.
• A personal site, an open-source contribution or a side project you can walk us through.

How we work

Hybrid from our San Pedro Sula studio or from Madrid, with 3 days a week in the studio and the rest wherever you work best. Projects run in small mixed teams — a strategist, a designer, a developer, a producer — rather than a chain of handoffs, so you are in the conversation from kickoff.

We review work out loud and early. Feedback here is about the work, direct and specific, and it travels in every direction, including toward whoever is most senior in the room.
