The Advanced Engineering Era

IARGO Cover Hero

From industrial construction → to Advanced Engineering

IARGO, a Central American engineering and construction firm with over 50 years of trajectory, had outgrown its market perception. While the business had evolved into advanced engineering and critical infrastructure at scale, the brand still communicated as a traditional industrial contractor — competing in a saturated category with interchangeable language and adjacent players.

OneTouch led a full brand evolution to reposition IARGO from "experienced builder" to "advanced engineering and infrastructure company." The work redefined the visual category through a monolithic, architectural symbol; a disciplined material-based color system built on industrial neutrals with controlled technical accents; and a precise typographic voice powered by Space Grotesk.

The result is a contemporary engineering brand that no longer competes inside the construction space — it defines its own. A scalable identity system built to carry IARGO's next chapter across energy, intelligent systems, and regional infrastructure.

The challenge

After 50+ years as a trusted industrial construction company in Central America, IARGO had outgrown its own perception. The market still saw a traditional builder — but the business had evolved into something far more complex: advanced engineering and critical infrastructure at scale.

The category was crowded with interchangeable language. Competitors owned adjacent territories — ALANZA had claimed "modern transformative builder," while regional players competed on the same generic promises of experience, quality, and trust. IARGO needed its own space.

The challenge was to shift the brand from "experienced industrial contractor" to "advanced engineering and infrastructure company" — without losing the legacy, authority, and technical credibility built over decades.

This meant rethinking every layer of the identity: a monolithic, architectural symbol replacing the traditional building mark; a material-driven color system grounded in carbon, concrete, and steel, with disciplined technical accents; and a typographic voice precise enough to carry both engineering data and high-impact statements.

Not a logo refresh. A category redefinition.

Solution

We rebuilt IARGO as a contemporary engineering brand — disciplined, technical, and built to operate at the scale of critical infrastructure.

A new visual category. The symbol evolved from a traditional building mark into a monolithic, modular structure — read as an advanced megastructure rather than a contractor's logo. Architectural, structural, and unmistakably engineered.

IARGO

Impact

IARGO no longer competes inside the construction category — it now owns a distinct territory: advanced engineering and critical infrastructure.

The brand reads at the level it actually operates: precise, monolithic, intelligent. A disciplined system that scales across every touchpoint, from technical documentation to large-format environments, and gives IARGO room to expand into new verticals without rebuilding its visual language.

Fifty years of legacy, repositioned for the next fifty.
